My roommates keep printing on my printer even though they do not pay for it. I am using HP instant ink which needs to be attached to the wifi. Is there a way to set up a password on the printer or another type of code so that they would only be able to use it with my permission?

Greetings and Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Don't worry, I'm here to help!
I'm afraid you'd not be able to setup a separate password. But here's what we can try -
1) In the search box, type "Printers & Scanners".
2) Click on your printer from the list.
3) Click on "Manage".
4) Click on "Printer Properties".
5) Click on "Security" tab.
6) Click on "Deny" for Print option under "Permissions for Everyone".
Hope this helps!
