I have been using my HP Envy 5640 with my MacBook Air for a long time without problems. I recently changed my Sky broadband router (which changed the wireless network ID etc).
The Printer connects without problems to the Wifi Network using the Wireless Setup Wizard.
The MacBook Air (running OS Catalina) connects without problems to the Wifi Network.
When I attempt to "add" the Envy5640 the MacBook can "see" it. But when I press the "+" button I get the error message "Unable to Verify the Printer on your network":
"Unable to connect to 'HP ENVY 5640 Series [******]._ipps._tcp.local.' due to an error.
I used Network Utility to Ping the IP address displayed on the Printer Touchscreen with the following results:
Ping has started…

I have managed to print from the MacBook Air using a USB cable attached to the Printer.
Could Anyone Help me Resolve the issue?

@DanielUK, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Make sure you have connected the printer to the new wireless network.
As per the PING test, there is a 100% loss. It means there is no connectivity between the printer and the MAC.
- Make sure the printer and the MAC are connected to the same wireless network.
- This printer supports only 2.4GHz network. So, the MAC should be on the 2.4GHz network.
- If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both the networks.
- Also, check with your Internet service provider if your router is able to forward 'Bonjour packets'.
- The wireless status menu on your Mac should also give us quite a lot of information that would help us identify the issue. You can press and hold the option key on your keyboard and click the WiFi icon to get detailed information.
- Restart the wireless router, the printer, and the MAC.
Update the printer firmware
Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.
Also, check for any software updates on MAC
Click the Apple icon > About This Mac > Software Update and install any available update.
Perform the PING test again to check the connectivity.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
