Hello, I have a HP photosmart c309g printer.
Initially, the message was a print head problem. I changed the print head and put in new cartridges.
Now I have another message that appears; ink system failure 0xc19a0041.
I turn it off, I turn it back on = no change
I turn it off, I unplug the power = no change
I don't know what to do anymore....what do you advise me?

Hi @XMélaNanie81,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The "Ink System Failure 0xc19a0041" error on your HP Photosmart C309g printer can be frustrating, especially after replacing the print head and cartridges. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue.
Check the Ink Cartridges
- Reinstall the Cartridges: Remove the ink cartridges and reinstall them to ensure they are seated properly.
- Inspect the Cartridges: Ensure the cartridges are compatible with your printer and that they are not expired or damaged.
Reset the Printer
- Power Cycle:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for about 60 seconds.
- Plug it back in and turn it on.
- Hard Reset:
- Turn off the printer.
- Disconnect the power cord and remove the ink cartridges.
- Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord and turn on the printer.
- Reinsert the ink cartridges.
Check for Ink System Components
- Inspect the Ink System: Make sure the ink system components, such as the ink carriage and ink sensors, are clean and free of obstructions.
- Clean the Print Head: If there’s still an issue, you may need to clean the print head again. Follow the printer’s manual for instructions on how to do this.
Update Printer Firmware
- Ensure that your printer's firmware is up to date. You can do this through the HP Software and Drivers website or using the HP Smart app.
Run HP Print and Scan Doctor
- Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool. It can help diagnose and fix various printing and scanning issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
