Welcome to HP Support Forums. A really great platform for posting all your questions and finding solutions.

I have gone through your Post and I would like to help

Are you trying to connect through Wireless or Wired?

Do you have other devices that are connected to your Wireless Network?

If you are trying to connect to your Wireless, please try these steps

Please restart the Router, Mac and printer in the same sequence and check if that helps

Ensure your Mac has all the latest updates. You can refer to this Link: https://support.apple.com/en-in/HT201541

Please click this Link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-officejet-pro-8620-e-all-in-one-printer-series/5... and check for Firmware updates if you has a USB cable

If you are still unable to connect the printer Wirelessly, Reset the Network Settings on the printer back to Factory Defaults

1. From the printer control panel, touch and slide your finger across the screen, touch Setup, and then touch Network Setup. 2. Touch Restore Network Defaults, and then touch Yes. A message appears stating that the network defaults have been restored. 3. Touch OK

Then run the Wireless Setup Wizard to connect the printer back to your Network

1. From the printer control panel display, touch and slide your finger across the screen and then touch Setup. 2. Touch Network Setup. 3. Touch Wireless Settings. 4. Touch Wireless Setup Wizard. 5. Follow the display instructions to complete the setup.

Once the printer is connected back to your Network,  Re-Add the printer back to the Mac printing Queue using Airprint

  1. Click the Apple menu, click System Preferences, and then click Print & Scan or Printers & Scanners.

  2. Check if your printer name displays in the Printers list, and then do one of the following steps.

    • If your printer is listed, remove and re-add the printer to confirm it is set up for AirPrint. Click the printer name, click the minus sign to delete the printer, click the plus sign , click Add Printer or Scanner, click the printer name and then continue to the next step.

    • If your printer is not listed, click the plus sign, click Add Printer or Scanner, click the name of your printer, and then continue to the next step.

  3. Confirm AirPrint or Secure AirPrint displays in the Use or Print Using menu, and then click Add.

Select AirPrint from the Use menu
  4. Try printing and let me know how it goes

Keep me posted how it goes

Thank you and have a wonderful weekend 😊
