My Photosmart d110 all in one printer, which I have had for nearly 2 years now, is, all of a sudden, acting as if it was store bought. It is showing me the Load Paper Demo, even though it has paper in it, and when I got to the screen asking for calibration, I pressed OK. Afterwards it goes to the Now printing alignment page... screen and hasn't moved from it since. I left it for 24 hours on that screen, then I turned off the printer, let it sit for 2 minutes, then plugged it back in, directly into a wall outlet. Turned it back on, and went back to that page. Then I tried taking out the ink cartridges, turning it off, putting each back in one at a time, turning it back on, and nothing, it keeps saying that it is printing the alignment page, but it is not doing so. Is there a way to bypass this step somehow, as I know the printer works, and I even went out and bought all new ink cartridges for it, in case that was the problem. Please let me know, otherwise I just bought a whole bunch of ink for a broken printer.

Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I recommend you follow the below steps and check if it helps.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Remove USB cable, if present.
- Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
- Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
- Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle.
If you continue facing the issue, we need to perform a semi-full reset to fix this issue. However, as the steps to perform a semi-full reset are confidential and specific to your printer. I will be sending you a private message please watch your inbox for more information.
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
