Hi @Molly_malone2 ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are facing an issue with your HP DeskJet 2700 is printing your Vinted postage labels on a full A4 page, which is likely due to a setting issue. To resolve this and ensure your labels print correctly, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Adjust Printer Settings in Vinted App or Website
Ensure correct label size in the Vinted app:
When you select your shipping label on Vinted, check that the correct label size (usually 4"x6") is selected for printing.
Print settings on Vinted website:
- If you're printing through a browser (like Safari or Chrome on your iPhone), click on the print button for your label.
- Before you print, look for a "Print Setup" or "Print Preview" option. Make sure the page size is set to the correct dimensions (usually 4"x6" for shipping labels).
- Ensure that the scaling is set to "Fit to Page" or similar, and select "Portrait" or "Landscape" orientation as required by the label size.
Step 2: Printer Settings on iPhone
- Print via AirPrint:
When printing from your iPhone, make sure the print settings are adjusted correctly before printing:- Tap the Share icon (usually a square with an arrow).
- Select Print and choose your HP DeskJet 2700 as the printer.
- In the print preview screen, tap on Options and make sure the paper size is set to the correct one (often 4"x6" for labels).
- Adjust the scale or margins if needed to make the label fit correctly.
Step 3: Update Printer Settings
Check Printer Driver (if printing from a PC):
- If you're printing from a PC, ensure that the print settings are set to "4x6" size.
- You may need to adjust the paper size in the print dialog box to match the label's size, not A4.
- Select the option that ensures your labels print on the correct paper size.
Check for Printer Software Updates:
Since you mentioned a software update, ensure that your printer’s firmware is updated. You can use the HP Smart app to check for updates for your printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
