My iPad shows paper as A4 but photo glossy, I can't remove this to just A4 as its prints incorrectl

I am wanting to print sewing patterns from My iPad but it prints incorrect size as its shown the paper size is A4 glossy paper not just A4.

When I print from my iMac the measurement sizes are correct

Welcome to the HP Community --

The Paper Size and Type can be adjusted on the Printer.

Use the Printer Control Panel right after the paper has been changed (or the tray has been opened and then closed)

OR

If your printer is on your network -

Use the Embedded Web Server (EWS)

Next,

Run your print job in your iPad --

The paper size / type should be updated as set in EWS / on the printer.

 Do not skip Step 5

Next,

Alert the Printer to the paper loaded in the intake tray - Tray and Paper

EWS > HP Document / How-to (InkJet Printers – Classic Format)

 Use the HP printer Embedded Web Server (EWS)

NOTE:  Find printer IP address

Section Open the EWS over a local network orientation

OR

 HP Laser Printers - Using the Printer Embedded Web Server (EWS)

Open your Browser > Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Reminder: 

If asked enter the printer’s PIN number –

The default PIN might be located on the back or inside the printer (ink access area).

EWS – Tray and Paper Management / Paper > Trays

Classic EWS - InkJet Printers

Open your Browser > Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Tab Settings > Preferences > Tray and Paper (Management)

Select / Adjust settings for Paper Size / Type

Model and EWS version Dependent:  Advanced section

Click Apply to save changes

If your job setup More Settings > Source is set to a form of Automatic or Auto and that setting is not working,

Adjust the Source to select the Tray

Check that the Paper Size / Type are as expected.
