Hi @moorewillie7,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your new iPhone 16 isn't able to print to your HP printer, try these troubleshooting steps.

Ensure Printer and iPhone are on the Same Wi-Fi Network:

  • Make sure your iPhone and the HP printer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. If they are on different networks, printing won't work.

Check AirPrint Support:

  • Ensure that your HP printer supports AirPrint, which is required for printing directly from an iPhone. Most recent HP printers do, but you can double-check the model specs on HP's website.

Restart Your Devices:

  • Power cycle your HP printer and restart your iPhone to rule out any temporary glitches.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Check if your HP printer has the latest firmware updates. You can do this by using the HP Smart app or logging into your printer’s web interface.

Update iPhone to Latest iOS Version:

  • Ensure your iPhone is running the latest iOS version by going to Settings > General > Software Update.

Check Printer Settings:

  • On the printer's control panel, make sure it is ready for wireless printing (Wi-Fi enabled, AirPrint turned on, etc.).

Test with Another App:

  • Try printing from a different app on your iPhone, like Safari or Mail, to see if the issue is specific to one app.

Re-add the Printer:

  • On your iPhone, go to Settings > Printers & Scanners and try re-adding your printer if it’s listed.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
