Hi @Zhenata,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

During printing the printer stops feeding pages and the control panel displays an alternating E and 4, and the Error icon, Paper Error icon, and Ink Alert light blink. This indicates that paper might be jammed inside the printer.

Please follow the steps mentioned. It should help:

Restart the Printer: Turn off the printer, wait for a few minutes, and then turn it back on. This simple step can sometimes resolve temporary issues.

Check for Paper Jams Again: Even if you've checked thoroughly, it's worth checking again. Make sure to inspect all areas, including the paper tray, input tray, output tray, and any access doors.

Inspect Sensors: Some printers have sensors that detect paper jams. Check if there is any sensor that might be blocked or malfunctioning. Refer to your printer's manual for guidance. Click Here

Update Firmware/Software: Check if there are any firmware or software updates available for your printer. Updating the printer's firmware may resolve certain issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
