Hi @Raj292,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The "open door" error on your HP printer, accompanied by a continuously blinking power light, typically indicates an issue with one of the printer's access doors not being properly closed. Here's how you can troubleshoot this problem.

Check the Doors

Paper Tray Door:

  • Ensure the paper tray is properly inserted and the door covering the paper tray is completely closed.

Ink Cartridge Access Door:

  • Open the ink cartridge access door and then firmly close it to ensure it's latched properly.

Rear Access Door:

  • If your printer has a rear access panel, remove it and reattach it securely.

Check for Obstructions

  • Inspect the printer for any paper jams or debris that might prevent the doors from closing properly.
  • If you find any stuck paper, carefully remove it.

Reset the Printer

  1. Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  2. Wait for about 2 minutes.
  3. Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
  4. Check if the issue is resolved.

Update the Firmware

  • If the problem persists, update your printer's firmware. You can do this using the HP Smart App or by downloading the latest firmware from the HP Support website.

Inspect the Sensors

  • The "open door" error can sometimes be caused by a faulty door sensor. Look for any visible damage to the sensor near the door hinges.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
