Here’s a few things we can try to fix the issue:
Check Wi-Fi Connection:
- Ensure your iPhone and the HP OfficeJet 4650 are both connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Sometimes, a small network change can cause the connection to drop.
Restart the Printer and iPhone:
- Turn off the printer, wait 10 seconds, and then turn it back on.
- Restart your iPhone as well to refresh the connection.
Reconnect Printer in AirPrint:
- On your iPhone, go to Settings > Wi-Fi and ensure the printer is listed and selected in your available network.
- Try printing again after confirming the connection.
Update Printer Firmware and iOS:
- Make sure both your iPhone’s iOS and the printer’s firmware are up to date. Sometimes, an update is all that’s needed to smooth things out.
Use HP Smart App:
- Download and open the HP Smart app on your iPhone if you haven’t already. It can help manage your printer’s settings and make sure everything is connected properly.
