I called the support number and got the instructions and now I see why the answer isn't on here.
If anyone reading this needs the instructions, calling is the fastest way to do it.
You need to perform a special reset of the printer from a special reset menu. However, if you do not follow the instructions exactly, you can cause other problems for the printer, so you must speak to an HP tech who can walk you through it.
