Product: HP LaserJet Pro M12w

I have downloaded the HP Smart app to IPAD (latest iOS and new IPAD). The app “found” my printer & appears on screen as if it’s working, but the document never actually prints from the printer.

You can open any document or picture,select print,  then print select the "HP Smart app" as printer from options presented after print selected. (Select "printer" on Ipad and it goes looking for airprint printer)

HP Smart app loads the print preview and after pressing PRINT gets the transmit in progress bar, which completes, and message sent.All appears fine, no errors, but no printout!!

 

Afterward I sent both a “test”and status print from within HP Smart from the Ipad to make sure the printer is connected, etc, and those documents printed fine. Any ideas why the printer is not ‘receiving’ any document from the iPad via the Smart app & printing it? Maybe it’s a setting somewhere?

Others have reported this over time so I hope there is an answer. Thanks for any help you can give.
