@LT310, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Printing Photos from iPhone with HP Printers!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
When printing photos from an iPhone using HP printers, it's important to understand how the HP Smart app functions to manage layout and scale images appropriately. Here's a brief guide on managing print sizes and layouts to avoid unwanted cropping:
Using the HP Smart App on iOS
Install and Open HP Smart App:
- Ensure you have the latest version of the HP Smart app installed on your iPhone. It is available for devices running iOS version 15 or newer.
Access Printing Options:
- In the HP Smart app, select the Print Photo tile.
- Allow access to your photos.
Select and Edit Photo:
- Choose the picture you want to print.
- Use the dynamic studio in the app to edit or adjust the image. You can resize, crop, rotate, and flip the image as needed.
Adjust Layout and Page Size:
- Utilize the Page size option to change the paper size, type, and orientation.
- Use Layout settings to fit, fill, rotate, and provide a border for your image.
Preview and Print:
- Tap Preview to view print settings like copies and color.
- This preview helps in adjusting setting choices to see a better approximation of the desired result.
- Finally, select Print to print your photo.
If the automatic settings continue to crop the image undesirably, you may want to explore manual adjustments in the image editor or check that the correct paper size and layout options are selected. Unfortunately, real-time adjustment options like those on desktop versions might be limited on mobile.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
