There is no attachment with the email received when using the scan to email function on my printer. This has always worked in the past, and I'm receiving the email itself so the issue must be the printer and not my internet or email. I have to send in my kids school assignments as required during the Corona Virus outbreak. They are due first thing in the morning so I doubt it will be resolved until next weeks assignments are due....Hopefully anyway.

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the "scan to email-no attachment" issue.
What is the file size of the scanned to email documents?
If the file size is too big, you might not receive the attachments
10MB is considered for the maximum size of an email. If you have a large document or there are a lot of pictures, it may be best to scan to the computer first. You will have the ability to reduce the quality (file size) or to use a third-party program to compress or Zip the file. Then you can send the document via email.
