Some of the things to recheck include or more of the following:

• The phone must be supported - that is, of a type that runs a supported Operating System / version.
• HP Smart (application) is required for some operations.
• The phone and the printer should be on the same network.
• No VPN during connection.

• During initial connection, the phone should have both Bluetooth and Location Services switched ON

Note:  Printer does not maintain connection via Bluetooth - the protocol is used for initial connection.
