Can I print from my iPhone or laptop to printer without
Internet? I recently have been affected by hurricane Ida in Southeast Louisiana we are out of power till the end of the month and there’s no Internet. My phone is on unlimited data. My printer is an H P Envy 5014 all in one
I have turned on Bluetooth smart I thought that would connect it but it just keeps saying connecting and then nothing happened.

If you mean by "but have hotspot?" that you do have a working Hotspot,
Sure, try that.

I am replying to this because we cant be the only ones having this problem, but after research I figured out that u must select privacy separator to off using the web UI for your hotspot. Apparently it is meant to keep devices from connecting to each other on the network. It took me a week to figure this out. LOL Anyways, printer works great now.

You cannot run this printer without power.
There are "mobile" battery operated printers.
The Envy 5000 is not a mobile printer.
What about connection?
If you have power for the printer,
You might be able to connect printer with WiFi Direct - wireless without the use of a router.
Open and read:
Starting on Page 46
More difficult reading on a tiny phone screen - but might be helpful:
Wireless printing center > Printer Setup > Wi-Fi Direct
Side Bar:
The reason the Bluetooth is not helping is because the printer is not actually Bluetooth capable - Bluetooth is used by the mobile device to help with the initial connection to the printer.
