I only have the option to print in black and white when I try to print from my iPhone or iPad. Printing from my Mac is fine. There is plenty of color in the cartridge. I have updated both phone and iPad, as well as checked for firmware updates on the printer. I have restarted all devices. I have tried to print through the HP Smart app as well us just selecting 'print' when hitting the share button on my phone. I would love some help!

Hi @danirae83
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
I understand you are unable to print in color from your iOS mobile device.
Since you are able to print in color from your MAC, seems to be a settings issue.
Please follow the steps below:
1. Check Printer Settings in the App:
- Open the HP Smart app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Select the document or photo you want to print.
- Tap on the print icon (usually a printer symbol).
- Before printing, check for an option to choose the color settings. This might be under "Printer Settings" or similar.
- Ensure that the "Color" option is selected instead of "Black & White" or "Black & White Draft."
2. Update the HP Smart App:
- Go to the App Store on your iPhone or iPad.
- Search for "HP Smart" and see if there's an update available.
- If there is, update the app and try printing again.
3. Reinstall the HP Smart App:
- Delete the HP Smart app from your iPhone or iPad.
- Restart your device.
- Reinstall the HP Smart app from the App Store.
- Set up your printer again and try printing.
4. Reset Printing System on iOS:
- Go to Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap on "General" and then "Reset."
- Select "Reset Network Settings." (Note: This will reset your Wi-Fi settings, so you'll need to reconnect to your Wi-Fi network.)
- After the reset, reconnect your device to Wi-Fi and try printing again.
5. Use AirPrint:
- Ensure your printer supports AirPrint and is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your iPhone or iPad.
- Open the document or photo you want to print.
- Tap on the share icon (usually a square with an arrow).
- Select "Print."
- Choose your printer and check for color options before printing.
6. Firmware Update: Update the firmware on an HP printer
- Ensure your printer’s firmware is up to date.
- Go to the HP support website and check for any firmware updates for your HP DeskJet 2600 series printer.
- Follow the instructions to update the firmware if an update is available.
7. Restart Devices:
- Turn off your printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for a minute, then plug it back in and turn it on.
- Restart your iPhone or iPad and try printing again.
