Product: OfficeJet 200 Portable Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I recently bought the OfficeJet 200 Portable printer.  It works great when connected to my network or my hotspot network.  When I am in hotels - Marriott, Hilton, etc. - and it's connected to the hotel network as is my PC, the printer won't become visible to my PC for printing.  Even when I enter the IP address for the printer and use that for the HP Print function on my PC, it still won't connect.

 

Am I missibg a step or is there something specific to these "public" networks that prevents the link to the printer?
