I'm just setting up this printer. I got the wifi connected, and successfully connected to it. But when I viewed that the original password is so guessable, I decided to change it and connected to the printers local web server, and changed the password.

Once the password was changed, it asked me to login. Except now it is asking for a username. I have no idea. Any clues?

Likely an easy thing, but I did search and look in the docs prior to asking. Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Hi,

The default username is admin (lowercase) with the combination of the selected password.

Be aware that there is no Administrator Password by default, I guess you may refer to the WiFi Direct password (1-8)?

If so, that can be edited by selecting Network > WiFi Direct, change the mode to Manual and you may then change the WiFi Direct password.
