HP OfficeJet Pro 8035 All-in-One Printer

For reference: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_1582257-1299980-16 (this is the feature I am referring to)

This Print Anywhere via the HP Smart App feature had disappeared altogether giving me no ability to enable it at all despite this article saying my printer is compatible with the feature. This article (https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_2843711-2427128-16) also agrees that I should have the feature. When I chat or call, no one knows what I'm talking about for the feature, leading the agents to provide false information. Call the HP Smart team, same deal, no one knows what I'm talking about and they also provide wrong information. It's getting me very frustrated, that so far no matter who I try to convey it to with HP Support so far, no one has the slightest clue on what I'm talking about.

HP Smart is not enough, you need to use HP Smart Advance features https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_3632769-3578404-16

This article does not explain how to activate those features. The OfficeJet Pro 8035 is compatible with HP Smart Advance but nothing is happening to be able to activate it. Even after countless factory resets it does not budge.

EDIT: I can't seem to see your reply anymore.

You only proved my own point. The distinction between e model and non-e model you are making is not correct information in this instance as select non-HP+ printers are eligible for the feature through HP Smart Advance enrollment. I would encourage you to re-read the articles. The e models are the HP+ models. The non e models are the non-HP+ printers. To further clarify, I did have this feature working before, but now it is not.

Which non-HP+ printers are eligible for HP Smart Advance?

  • HP OfficeJet 8010, 8020, Pro 8020, 8030 series

That is the part I’m trying to figure out, it’s supposed to enroll in HP Smart Advance, but nothing is happening to get it to that point.

Once you setup your eligible non HP+ printer with HP Smart app and your HP account you will be enrolled in the HP Smart Advance

I did that, but I still do not have the Print Anywhere showing anywhere.
