Hp Omen 15 RTX 2060

On closing the laptop lid will the screen gets scratched ? If yes, anything I can do to prevent it? 

Product name is hp omen 15 rtx 2060 bought a month ago didn't close it once without the cloth that came with it. But  yesterday I lost it please help.

Closing and opening the lid does not cause any damage/scratches to the screen. However, make sure you are not applying too much force on the lid. Be gentle. This functionality is as per the design and nothing to worry about.
