Hi @Charlotte2424,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To enlarge a copy of a small card on your HP Envy 6455e printer, you'll need to use the copy settings on the printer or the associated HP Smart app. Here’s how you can do it:
Using the Printer's Control Panel
Place the Original Document:
- Open the scanner lid and place the small card on the scanner glass. Align it according to the markings on the glass.
Access the Copy Menu:
- On the printer’s control panel, select the Copy option. This might be directly accessible via a dedicated button or through a menu.
Select Copy Settings:
- Look for options related to resizing or scaling. This could be labeled as Resize, Scale, Fit to Page, or something similar.
- Choose a scaling option to enlarge the copy. For instance, you might see options like 100%, 150%, 200%, etc., or a custom percentage.
Set the Paper Size:
- Ensure that the paper size you’re using is large enough to accommodate the enlarged copy. You may need to use a larger paper size than the original card.
Start the Copying Process:
- After setting the desired enlargement percentage and ensuring the paper size is correct, press the Start Copy button.
Using the HP Smart App
Install HP Smart App:
- If you haven’t already, download and install the HP Smart app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
Connect to Your Printer:
- Open the HP Smart app and connect to your HP Envy 6455e printer if you haven’t done so already.
Access Copy Options:
- In the HP Smart app, select the Copy option.
Set Enlargement Options:
- Look for a scaling or resize option in the copy settings. You should be able to set a custom percentage or select a predefined size.
- Adjust the scaling percentage to enlarge the document as needed.
Preview and Print:
- Preview the enlargement to ensure it looks correct.
- Choose the paper size and any other settings, then start the copying process.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
