Pages are being counted against page count printed for pages being selected to be selected to be "saved as pdf" when selecting to print to pdf. No pages were printed on my printer. Did this just moments ago for one page saved to pdf on my computer and the print count for today just went up by that one page.

page is being counted as printed even though destination selected is "save to pdf" not print to my printer. please correct issue asap, i prefer not to e-mail for a credit each time i save to pdf as i do that often. thank you.

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

Please uninstall the printer software from root level and download the full feature software and the Firmware

1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’
6.) Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
8.) Click on the “Drivers” tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
13.) Restart the computer and download the Full Feature Software and the Firmware from Here and follow the onscreen Instructions

Thank you.  I will keep this as an additional/alternative method to try if the problem re-occurs. At this time taking out the cartridges and putting them back in and powering down the printer and turning it back on seemed to have reset something where the count is working appropriately again.

Thank you.
