I've made no recent changes to my system, but for the past month or so, my PHOTSMART C4680 has been printing blurry when printing pdfs and web pages. Don't recall having issues with word docs. I've tried the hard shut down and I've reloaded the ink cartridges, not sure what else I can do. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
If this happens only with the PDF's and web pages, let's try these steps:
Try a different web browser and see if the same happens. Also, uninstall and reinstall Adobe Reader.
If the issue persists, let's try to do a root uninstall and reinstall of the software:
Unplug any USB cable, if any, before doing this.
1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose 'Delete' or 'Remove Device'
6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between "printui.exe" and "/s")
8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
13.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo
14.) Type c:/programdata and click Ok. Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.
15.) Restart the computer.
Once done, please download and install the software from here:

Hi Betty,
Thank you for responding to my question.Right after I posted it, I reinstalled the drivers and just now tried to print again. It worked fine. So I will take the steps to do the uninstall/reinstall as the solution - thanks!

So just a few weeks after thinking I had this problem resolved, it's returned again. I replaced one of my printer cartridges (with a new HP cartridge) and things haven't worked right since. It took a good deal of effort to get a usable alignment page to print so I could use the printer again (and while it accepted the page (probably the third one I printed) I know from past experience the page did not look right - light amount of ink, despite new cartridges, and probably not completely "filled in"). Now once again, pdfs print blurry. I am printing them directly from Adobe files, not via a web browser. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers twice, I've disconnected the power and USB cables at least twice. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled Acrobat Reader. No changes.
Any help would be appreciated. I need this printer working.
