Welcome to the HP Community Forum.

This is one of those times when knowing the Operating System / version would have been helpful to answer the question.

OK - Using what we have...

Assuming a recent version of Windows because it is one of the OS versions that supports this type of print job.

The issues is perhaps that the single selection of the single image is not replicating on the single sheet of paper the way you expect.

True - Assuming the photos fit, HP Smart Windows can print multiple images on a single sheet of paper.

The HP Smart (Windows) application works well when selecting a collection of different image files.

The setup is a bit awkward if you want to repeat the same image multiple times on the one piece of paper.

Workaround

Save 4 copies of the same image under slightly different names

Select those files for your "multiple photos printed on a single paper".

Example - HP Smart - Windows - Multiple Photos on a single sheet of paper

HP_Smart_W10_Multiple_Photos_per_Sheet_All_2HP_Smart_W10_Multiple_Photos_per_Sheet_All_2

Yeah, but...

The HP Smart application does not (at this writing) understand the concept of rows and columns, that is, creating a table of repeating images and then printing the results.

Windows Photo Viewer (if you can find it anywhere) to do this as would Photo Creations (retired in 2019).

What to do?

Make several copies of your image file under slight different names - select the files when setting up your job to print "Multiple Photos per Page"

OR

Consider using Photo editing software that supports the feature(s) you want.

Perspective:

  • Photo Editing software is not always "Plug and Play" -- that is, you might have to work a bit to configure the job(s) you want.
  • The Irfanview software is free, comprehensive (lots of features), and smart --  the software is not "see, click, and do" for every job type.

Photo Editing > Irfanview  - Resize Image / Photo File

Resizing is only necessary if you want to change the actual size of the image file as it would appear at 100% of size.

Example 1 - Irfanview   - Resize Image File to 5x7 inches

Irfanview_Print_Image_Resize_Resample_3Irfanview_Print_Image_Resize_Resample_3

Example 2 - Irfanview   - Resize Image File to 2.5 X 3.2 inches

Irfanview_Print_Image_Resize_Resample_2.5in_1Irfanview_Print_Image_Resize_Resample_2.5in_1

Photo Editing > Irfanview  - Create and Print Tile View

This software can create, manage, and print Tile View photos - multiple photos in rows and columns on a single sheet of paper.

Reminder:  Tile printing is not contact-sheet printing.

Example 1 - Irfanview  - Tile View Photo Print - Part 1 of 2

Example 2 - Irfanview  - Tile View Photo Print - Part 1 of 2

How to find Help within the Irfanview software

Vertical/Horizontal Flip
