Need to know how to print both sides of a doc on hp 8710 office jet pro

If you have not done so, download, save, and install the Full Feature Software for the printer.

After the software is installed, Restart the computer and log in.

From the extensive list in printer's How to > Topic Print > Subject list Instructions & Settings

Read  How to Print on Both Sides of the Paper (Windows) (Duplexing)

Places to check / set options...

Make sure the "duplex" is set to installed

Control Panel > icon view > Devices and Printers

Right-Click on your printer > Select Printer Properties

If necessary, select your print from the little drop-down menu

Tab Device Settings

Under Installable Options > Select Duplex Unit = Installed

Click OK to save changes and exit

Set the print options / shortcut to print Duplex

Control Panel > icon view > Devices and Printers

Right-Click on your printer > Select Printing Preferences

Select General Everyday Printing

Change / Adjust all the settings in each tab, including the option to "Print on both sides" = Yes, flip over

Click Save-As > Enter a name for your custom shortcut

Click OK to save the name / shortcut

When you are ready to print and before you submit the job to the printer,

Open the print menu in your software you are using to create the content and send to printer,

If necessary, verify / select your printer,

Set your print options,

Click Properties / Print Dialog / Preferences (wording varies depending on the program you are using),

Select your custom "duplex" shortcut (OR just set the "print on both sides = yes"),

Click OK to set / save changes,

In the program you are using to create / view document, click Print
