My officejet Pro 8600 Plus has a poor printquality. It referes to the yellow inkt, this one appears completely empty on the printer status report and prit quality status report. The printer has been cleaned through the automatic cleaning setups in the printer, but this doesnt do the magic.
The inkpatron is not empty and it doesnt resolve when i change it with a new one. (HP original inkp.)

I have been following all the steps in the HP 'fixing poor quality' doc without succes.

Does this mean i have to replace the printhead? The problem only occurs with the yellow colour.

What can you advise me?

@Anne67,

Thank you for reaching out to the HP Support community!

Looks like you have tried almost all the troubleshooting steps for resolving the print quality issues on the printer.

This is the link for the troubleshooter document. Check if you performed all the necessary steps.

Since you have already tried with 2 ink cartridges and the issue remain, I think the print head of the printer may be at fault.

I would request you to contact our HP Support Team for Service/Replacement/Upgrade options.

Cheers!
