@Printer148pro, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer

Looks like your printer is playing hard to get with encrypted jobs—let’s get it back on speaking terms with your phone! 🚀

Now, follow these steps to fix the issue:

Enable Print Service on Your Mobile

  1. Open Settings on your mobile device.
  2. Go to Connected devices or Printing (this varies by phone model).
  3. Tap Default Print Service or HP Print Service Plugin (if installed).
  4. Make sure the print service is enabled.

Accept Non-Encrypted Jobs

  1. On your phone, when you see the notification:
    • "This printer no longer accepts encrypted jobs"
    • Tap Accept to allow unencrypted printing.
  2. If the notification is dismissed, retry printing and choose ‘Accept’ when prompted.

Reset HP Print Service Plugin (If Needed)

If the issue persists, try resetting the HP Print Service Plugin:

  1. Open Settings > Apps & notifications > See all apps.
  2. Find and tap HP Print Service Plugin.
  3. Tap Storage & cache > Clear Cache.
  4. Restart your phone and try printing again.

Restart Printer and Mobile Device

  • Turn off the printer, unplug it for 1 minute, and turn it back on.
  • Restart your phone and reconnect to the printer.

Use the HP Smart App for Printing

If you’re still having issues, try using the HP Smart app:

  1. Download HP Smart from the Play Store.
  2. Add your printer and use it for printing instead of the default print service.

Let me know if the problem persists! 🚀

Take care, and have an amazing day!
