Hi all! I bot a 2700 DeskJet recently from Best Buy & tried entering the code in the box on that auto ink refill free trial service & it says invalid code which from spending even more time than I had spent to install & get this monstrosity to work and print anything I think it's a timing prob and card is now expired which I wasn't made aware of at all prior here. Is there any way to prove purchase & acct verification maybe that I haven't participated in this service yet to get a code that works to try the free ink ordering service out or an I screwed basically?

One other unrelated question, anyone know if it's ok to unplug it from power until I actually need to print to it or does that completely start everything over and erase all the settings and the trial and error that I went through to try to get this thing to print to begin with cuz it's Wi-Fi connected etc and the internet anywhere capabilities are they all erased essentially when I unplug it that long? The thing on the power I don't really think it's using less power because it's just basically on or off and you can't turn the thing off unless you unplug it the power buttons for show it's not actually a real power button. I just don't want to have to remove all of the settings that I just spent months literally trying to set up by unplugging it because I don't want it using power I don't ever print to this thing maybe once a month if that.
