My HP Photosmart 5520 printer has always worked perfectly on Sky broadband. Now Sky have sent me a new router, I am having problems connecting printer to the wi-fi. I have had multiple conversations with Sky who have changed router to 2.4 ghz and have talked me through adding MAC address for printer manually. At first this worked but now printer has disconnected again and won’t reconnect. Sky said if I get any more problems to go to HP and ask for the Port number. How do I get this?

Hello,
In order to overcome this problem, please connect the printer to the wireless network of the new router, by proceeding as follows:
On the printer operation panel, press the Wireless icon (
).
Press Setting....
Press the down arrow and then press Restore Network Settings. Click or press Yes for the message "Do you really want to restore the factory default network settings?".
Press the up arrow, then press Wireless Setup Wizard.
Press the name of your network, then enter the security key of your wireless network and validate.
Once the network connection is established, press OK.
Download and install the HP Photosmart 5520 e-All-in-One Printer series Full Feature Software and Drivers.
I remain at your disposal in case of need.
Cordially,

Thanks Mans. That's just what I needed. In fact my printer has now connected wirelessly. I disabled IPv6 setting and it connected straight away. I'll see how it goes & if I have any more problems I can go back to my service provider with the Port number. 👍

We just changed to new Internet provider with new router. I cannot get the printer to connect to the new network
I have a photosmart 4750 and I can reset to factory on the printer screen based on your recs below, but thats where it ends. When I get to Printer Utility on my MAC the printer cannot be connected wirelessly, but it will connect via USB. And the screen does not offer option to connect wirelessly like th eHP video have said. I have been at this for hours. Appreciate help.

Hi. I’m afraid I can’t help! I have been battling to connect my Photoshop 5520 printer connected to my new router for weeks now. Every time I think I’ve found the answer and I get Wireless connection, it doesn’t last and I’m left back where I started. I have given up and now only print via USB from my laptop. Very frustrating.
