I recently took my printer home to work during Covid. Brought it back into the office and try to connect to the network and it basically just tries and tries and tries (blue light flashing) and doesn't find the network. I then try to cancel after an hour and it does nothing, the red x doesn't work and the only way to get off this screen is to turn off the printer from the mains (the power button doesn't even work). I have re-set to factory setting and reset the network setting also. Please help!

@RebeccaJ86, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Let us try these steps to resolve this issue:
Reset the printer
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
- Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.
On the printer screen, go to Setup > Network Setup > Restore network defaults.
Print a wireless test report to check if the wireless radio is working fine
Network support > print reports > Print wireless test report
Go back to Network > Wireless > Wireless setup wizard and select your network.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
