I have an Officejet 5255 printer which is wirelessly connected to several devices. I am able to scan from all devices and print from all but one computer. When I use the print and scan doctor it shows that everything is fine but I can't get it to print. If anyone has a solution, I would appreciate the help. I have already reset the router and printer.

Hi @EdC69,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you're experiencing issues with printing from a specific computer despite successful scanning and the HP Print and Scan Doctor indicating no problems, there are a few additional steps you can try to resolve the issue.
Check Printer Connection:
- Ensure that the Officejet 5255 printer is properly connected to the wireless network. You can check the printer's wireless settings to confirm the connection status.
- Verify that the problematic computer is also connected to the same wireless network.
Printer Offline Status:
- Check if the printer is set to "Offline" on the problematic computer. To do this, go to the Control Panel > Devices and Printers, right-click on the printer, and make sure it's set to "Use Printer Online" if it's currently offline.
Restart Print Spooler:
- Sometimes, issues with the print spooler can cause printing problems. Restart the print spooler service on the problematic computer. Open the Run dialog (Win + R), type services.msc, find "Print Spooler" in the list, right-click it, and select "Restart."
Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers:
- Ensure that you have the latest printer drivers installed on the problematic computer. You can download the latest drivers from the HP website.
- If the drivers are already up to date, consider uninstalling and reinstalling them.
Firewall and Security Software:
- Temporarily disable any firewall or security software on the problematic computer and check if it allows printing. If printing works after disabling the firewall, you may need to configure the firewall settings to allow communication with the printer.
Check Print Queue:
- Open the print queue on the problematic computer to check if there are any pending print jobs. If there are, try canceling them and then attempt to print again.
Use HP Print and Scan Doctor:
- Run the HP Print and Scan Doctor again and follow any additional recommendations it provides.
Reinstall Printer:
- Remove the printer from the problematic computer and then reinstall it. To do this, go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers, right-click on the printer, and select "Remove Device." Then, reinstall the printer using the latest drivers.
Check for System Updates:
- Ensure that your computer's operating system is up to date with the latest updates.
Remember to restart the computer and the printer after making changes to ensure that the settings take effect.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
