Hi @OWEN50,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your printer is only printing the last page of a document and not the full document as expected, several factors might be causing this issue. Here’s a detailed troubleshooting guide to help you resolve the problem:
**1. Check Print Settings
- Go to File > Print in the application you’re using (e.g., Word, PDF reader).:
- Choose your printer from the list.
- Click on Printer Properties or Preferences.
- Ensure the Print Range is set to All Pages or the specific pages you want to print.:
- Verify that the page numbers are correctly specified if you are printing a range.:
- Save your settings and attempt to print the document again.
**2. Check Printer Status and Settings:
- Check the printer’s display or control panel for any error messages or alerts.
- Ensure there are no warnings related to paper jams or low ink levels.
- Open the Printer Queue on your computer (Control Panel > Devices and Printers > Your Printer > See what’s printing).
- Verify if there are any pending jobs or errors in the queue.
**3. Verify Document Settings
- Ensure the document is correctly formatted. Sometimes issues can arise from corrupted files or incorrect formatting.
- Use the Print Preview option in your application to check how the document will be printed. This can help identify if the issue is with the document layout or the printer.
**4. Update Printer Drivers and Firmware
- Open Device Manager: Right-click on the Start menu and select Device Manager.
- Locate Printers: Expand the Printers section.
- Update Driver: Right-click on your printer and select Update driver. Choose Search automatically for updated driver software.
- Visit the HP Support website .Download and install the latest firmware for your printer model.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
