I set up the printer using HP's guidelines - I went to my printer's IP address -> scan tab and set up my @hpeprint.com email address as an outgoing email address. I tested it, and I saw a box saying 'the test has completed successfully'.
I went to my printer: scan -> scan to email -> send an email -> from (my @hpeprint.com email address) -> I then selected 'to' this email address and two other email addresses -> next -> scan. The screen said 'connecting to email.hpeprint.com', then it said 'sending to 3 email addresses', then it said 'Email has been sent'.
However, there are no corresponding emails in any of the mail boxes...
Can you help?
Kind regards,
Greg Fisher

Thanks for reaching out to us on HP Support Forums. 🙂 I came across your post and would like to help.
I understand that you have an HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277 printer and then scan to email option is not working. It shows that the email has been sent but email does not arrive to the destination email address. I appreciate the steps you have performed and have certainly done a good job.
I suggest you to review the steps as described in detail from this link to setup scan to email. I sincerely hope this fixes the issue.
Feel free to let me know how it goes. Cheers! 🙂

My HP Envy Photo 7855 says its scan of document is "successful" but the email delivered to my account arrives w/out the PDF attached. After several successful efforts with shorter documents, a longer document is now showing this frustrating symptom. Please tell me how to fix this frustrating problem ASAP. Thanks very much.
