HP Officejet Pro 8710 - Product # M9L66A
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My two-three year old HP Officejet PRO 8710, model # M9L66A, is saying "The printhead appears to be missing, not detected, or incorrectly installed. I have never had any problems with the printhead until I had a paper jam recently. I removed the paper jam and ever since it has had this area. Is there anything I can do? Is it worth it to replace the printhead?

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

If you have already performed the steps from the document Print head Errors: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04100778 and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: www.hp.com/contacthp/

Hope this helps!
