Two different issues, would be delighted if either was fixed.
Some time ago when printing emails from my Yahoo Mail App on my Android phone my printer decided it wanted to print right to the edge of both the top of the page and the left of the page (as though it had no margins). Consequently, the top and left of the email was cut off.
I found that a workaround to this was to forward the email to the printer email address, this caused the body of the email to be indented enough that it was printed.
Now though, emailing the printer email address no longer prints anything. Something has changed at HP because now when I email the printer I get a nice email from HP thanking me for using the service and assuring me that the print is on its way (I never used to get this email when it worked). But the email never prints.
Printer functions normally in all other aspects, so it is connected to the network etc.
So, any help appreciated on either problem so that I can print emails again.
Many Thanks

Hi @oj02,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It seems like you're facing two separate issues with printing emails on your HP printer. Let's address them one by one.
Issue 1: Printing with Margins
If your printer is not respecting the margins when printing emails from the Yahoo Mail App on your Android phone, you might want to check the print settings within the app. Here's what you can do.
- Open the Email: Open the email you want to print in the Yahoo Mail App on your Android phone.
- Access Print Options: Look for the print option within the app. This is usually represented by a printer icon or found in the more options menu.
- Adjust Print Settings: Once you've selected the print option, check if there are any print settings available. Look for options like "Fit to Page" or "Page Margins." Adjust these settings to ensure the content fits within the page margins.
- Preview before Printing: If there's a preview option, use it to check how the email will be printed. Ensure that the content is within the printable area.
Issue 2: Printing via Email
If emailing the printer address no longer prints, and you're receiving a confirmation email from HP but nothing is getting printed, here are some steps you can take.
- Check Printer Email Configuration: Ensure that the printer's email address is correctly set up. This might involve checking the printer settings through its control panel or online portal if your printer has that capability.
- Review HP Print Service: On your Android phone, check if the HP Print Service Plugin is installed and up to date. You can find this in your phone's settings, usually under "Printing" or a similar category. Update the plugin if needed.
- Printer Email Authentication: Make sure that the email you are sending from is on the authorized list for your printer's email printing service. Some printers only accept print jobs from specific email addresses to prevent unauthorized printing.
Remember to refer to your printer's user manual for specific instructions related to your model, and ensure that both your printer and the Yahoo Mail App are running the latest software versions.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Hi @Alden4
Thank you for taking the time to respond and apologies for not replying sooner.
With regard to Issue 1 - Unfortunately the Yahoo Mail App on my Android has no such printing options.
With regard to Issue 2 - Everything appears to be set up correctly and certainly nothing has changed at my end since this last worked. I do know that something has changed at HP's end as I didn't used to get the email confirming that I had sent something to the printer email address.
I found a workaround of sorts. If I forward an email I want to print to myself, I can then print that email as the body of the relevent portion of the email is indented enough that it prints on the page. Far from ideal though.

@Alden4
Hi, It was following that link that led me to this forum. The only other option on there is fee based phone support. I certainly won't be paying to fix an issue created by HP!
Coupled with the increase in Instant Ink subscription rates, this might just encourage me to get rid of the printer and buy an Epsom.
