HP Tango

Hello everyone!

Is it possible to send a print job to my Tango printer while remaining connected to the internet via Wi-Fi? Currently, I have to disconnect from the network that I am using and reconnect to the printer via Wi-Fi.  Obviously, this is very inconvenient. I hope that it can be done!

Thanks for any tips!

Hi @AndrewNC,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

To be able to answer you effectively, we need some information.

Are you looking to print from your Tango printer while other devices are connected to the internet?

Kindly elaborate more on the issue.

As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, HP Tango printers typically require a direct Wi-Fi connection between your device (such as a computer or smartphone) and the printer itself in order to print.

This can sometimes lead to the inconvenience you mentioned, where you have to switch your device's Wi-Fi connection between your regular network and the printer's network.

HP Tango printer or firmware updates might offer the ability to print while remaining connected to the internet via Wi-Fi.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
