HP Officejet 6600 e-All-in-One Printer - H711a/H711g

I've seen several messages about blank pages from this app suddenly. I too just recently have not been able to print from my phone, tablet. It started after the last update.

One user stated turning off "App Tracker". I have searched and cannot locate where that feature is located. Please explain to me specifically where the feature is and how to turn it off. Thank you

@Vicys, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding printing blank pages!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

It sounds like you’re experiencing an issue after an update to the HP Officejet 6600. The "App Tracker" feature you mentioned is often related to the printer’s mobile app, but it can be tricky to locate. Here’s how you can disable it:

  1. Open the HP Smart App on your phone or tablet.
  2. Go to the settings menu within the app. This is typically accessed by tapping on the three vertical dots or gear icon in the top right corner.
  3. Look for the 'Advanced Settings' or a similar section (this may vary depending on your version of the app).
  4. You should see an option for App Tracker under settings. Toggle it off to disable it.

If this doesn’t work or you can’t find this option, you may want to try reinstalling the HP Smart App to ensure it’s up-to-date and free of any bugs. Additionally, ensure that your printer firmware is updated as well.

Let me know if this helps or if you need more assistance!

Take care, and have an amazing day!

Hi Zoey, thank you for the reply. I uninstalled the app. Restarted my phone and then reloaded the app.

Inside the app I don't see the 3 dots in the upper right corner. I see some setting options but nothing takes me to the instructions you sent. Any other options?

Thank you

@Vicys, Thank you for your response!

Here’s an alternative solution:

  1. Open the HP Smart App on the phone or tablet.
  2. Check for Settings via the main screen:
    • Instead of looking for the three vertical dots or gear icon in the upper-right corner, look for the “Settings” option directly within the app's home screen or on the main screen.
  3. Check for the “App Tracker” option:
    • If they find "App Tracker" listed in settings, they can toggle it off.
    • If not, they can try resetting app preferences to make sure nothing is preventing them from seeing the settings.

If that still doesn’t work, a few other suggestions might include:

  • Updating the Printer Firmware: Go to the printer's settings via the app and check if a firmware update is available.
  • Try Using a Different Device: If possible, try accessing the settings from a different phone or tablet to see if the interface appears differently.

Let me know if this helps!
