HP OfficeJet Pro 8135e All-in-One Printer

I bought a new printer 8135e and it prints inside my house from all my devices , except from the HP smart App on my iPhone 13 and my Samsung 22 plus. The 3 plug in on my Samsung phone, default, Samsung and HP smart all get the error message …. Printer blocked. My iPhone gets a failed error trying to print. I have done all the normal troubleshooting, reset router, reinstalled app. Placed the IP address directly into the plug in yo connect through WIFI direct. Help!   Why is it that placing an HP printer onto the HP smart app, doesn’t simple work when it finds the printer and can see its ink levels

I  have same issue with a Samsung s23 phone.  Spent 2 hours on phone with hp help and they said it must be Samsung issue.  Interesting since you have an apple phone with the same errors

If it is, there is a new Firmware available that would resolve the issue.  Use the Printer Control Panel to update the firmware.  This resource shows how that is done:
