I purchased a new printer, DeskJet 2652. When I try to print from my iPad it makes me disconnect from my WiFi and use hp direct. I have to save whatever I want to print to hp documents. It is a lot of steps to go through every time I want to print, is there an easier way to get the job done?

Welcome to the HP Forums 🙂
I would like to take a moment and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers.
As I understand, your printer disconnects from Wi-Fi
No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:
When was the last time it worked fine?
How do you wish to connect your printer and iPad (Over Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi Direct)?
If you wish to keep the Wi-Fi Direct Connection, please follow these steps:
Restore network settings to default settings
● Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button from the printer control panel together for three seconds.
If you wish to connect using Wi-Fi, please turn off Wi-Fi Direct following these steps:
On the printer control panel, press and hold the Wireless button and the Resume button together for three seconds.
When Wi-Fi Direct is turned off, the Wi-Fi Direct icon on the display is off
Keep me posted,
Have a great day 🙂
Cheers!
