Printing issue hp j4680 officejet

I have a HP j4680 Officejet printer that's connected by wifi only. When i print from my s8 plus mobile the printer will start printing, print 1/4 of the page and stop, although the LCD on printer says "printing " it will sit there for an hour b4 ejecting the partially printed sheet. HELP

I would guess that the printer is not fully supported.

Printer was introduced in 2008 - that is a long time back for an Officejet model, even a nice printer like the J4680.
