At least daily, my printer will tell me that the the paper is out. It will also tell me that the Tray 1 needs to be loaded. I never use Tray 1 for printing other than envelopes/labels. Tray 2 is the main tray I use for printing and is always full and lifting.
If I wait for at least an hour or so, the "Paper Out" message will go away and reset itself. Then soon after printing normally, will appear again.
No consistency. Labels are also a problem with this printer.

Hi,
There could be paper size mismatch issue between printer driver and the printer, while printing from pc select the correct paper size (as per the paper loaded in tray 2 Letter /A4) and then print , this should print without any issues.
i hope this will resolve the issue.

Hi,
I understand you are getting paper out message constantly. please follow the steps below .
By default, the product pulls paper from Tray 2. If Tray 2 is empty, the product pulls paper from Tray 1, or from the optional Tray 3 if it is installed.
NOTE: If you change the default tray to Tray 2, be sure to configure the tray for the correct paper size and type.
If you use special paper for all or most print jobs on the product, change this default tray setting on the product.
The following table lists possible ways you can use the tray settings to meet your printing needs.
From the software program print dialog, choose the paper type that matches the special paper loaded in the tray before sending the print job. Select Tray 2 as the Paper Source from the Paper/Quality tab (Windows) or Paper Feed pop-up menu.
