I no longer have any advanced option in the app. I print patterns and need to make sure printouts are not resized as my pattern dimensions will be completely off. I mostly print from my phone using HP smart app, however I'm assuming an app update, as app now looks different has cripplemy advanced options I now have only blank screen that says document at the top with no options. It has pretty much rendered my HP laser printer useless to me. Patterns are coming out with all different sizes. If so eone knows what has happened to advanced options, or how I can fix this. Otherwise I will have to get something other than an HP as pattern printing is the only reason I have a laser printer. Printing from PC is not always an option for me I do need to print from my phone.

There are a few things you can try to resolve this issue:
Clear Cache and Data of the HP Smart App:
- Go to Settings > Apps > HP Smart > Storage > Clear Cache and Clear Data.
- After clearing the cache/data, open the app again to see if it restores the advanced options.
Reinstall the HP Smart App:
- Uninstall the app and then reinstall it from the Google Play Store. This can help fix any app-related issues caused by an update.
Check Printer Settings on Your Phone:
- Open the app, and select the printer.
- Tap the Settings (gear) icon and look for options related to print quality, page size, and scaling. Some options might have changed in the latest app version, but they should be there.
Update the Printer Firmware:
- Sometimes, the printer itself may need a firmware update. In the HP Smart app, go to Printer Settings > Firmware Update to ensure your printer has the latest software.
Try Using a Different App or Printing Method:
- If the HP Smart app isn’t working, you can try printing directly from Google Drive or another third-party printing app that supports HP printers. You could also try using Google Cloud Print if your printer is supported.
