I used to be able to connect my printer to my mobile hotspot when I had my iPhone 5s. Since upgrading to an iPhone 8, my printer will not connect to my hotspot anymore. I do this when I need to print from my laptop to the printer and I connect both my laptop and my printer to my mobile hotspot in order to print. The printer recognizes my phone as an available network to connect to, but after I put in the mobile password, it will not connect. Yet other devices in our home connect fine to my hotspot. Any suggestions?

Resetting the printer network settings may resolve the issue, let's try these steps:
1.) Turn off your mobile hotspot
2.) Restart your printer, from the printer control panel, swipe left then touch "Setup". Touch 'Network Setup", touch "Restore Network Settings".
3.) Power off your printer
4.) Turn on mobile hotspot on your phone.
5.) Power on your printer.
6.) From the printer control panel, touch ( Wireless ).
7.) Touch ( Settings ).
8.) Touch Wireless Setup Wizard. Follow the display instructions to connect the printer to your mobile WiFi hotspot.

This did not help. I am still not able to connect to my iPhone 5s Personal Hotspot. I cannot print any longer due to HP ePrint wanting me to update...but there is no way for me to connect to the internet to do so... Frustrating!
