Hello,
I have the same problem. My printer is also called send-to-hp-roam. After setting it up, it was called OfficeJet9122 or something similar. After I installed the HP Smart App on my iPhone and set up printing from anywhere, it is now just called send-to-hp-roam. I have already deleted the HP Smart App and reset the printer to factory settings, but the name send-to-hp-roam remains. I would like to change the printer back to Officejet.

What is send-to-hp-roam anyway? It has something to do with remote printing.

I had the exact same problem after setting up a Smart tank 5105. It resolved itself after I printed from an iPad and MacBook linked to the same Apple ID, but no idea why. If I did it all over again, I would not use the HP smart app — which seems like it’s designed to harvest user data and little more. AirPrint does NOT require an external app.
