i can install this printer to my computer,but when i print something that says i need enter a password.unfortunately,i forgot that. how do i factory reset this printer or the admin password so i can actually use this device?

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M283fdw. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.
We have to perform an NVRAM Reset to unlock the features of the printer/Reset the password.
The reset instructions are specific to your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instructions to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
