HP InkJet All-In-One
iOS

Hello,

I use the HP Smart app on my iPad to print images with my HP InkJet All-In-One printer.

I use regular A4 paper, but I want my image (JPEG) to be smaller than A4 size (13.5 x 18.5 cm). Is there a way to crop it directly with the app ?

Hi @Adouche,

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Yes, you can resize or crop images directly in the HP Smart app before printing. Here’s how you can do it.

  1. Open the HP Smart app on your iPad.
  2. Select the printer you want to use if it's not already selected.
  3. Tap on the "Print" option to start a new print job.
  4. Choose the image you want to print from your gallery.
  5. Once the image is loaded, tap on the "Edit" icon (usually looks like a pencil or similar tool).
  6. In the editing menu, you should see options to crop or resize the image. Use these tools to adjust the dimensions of your image to fit the desired size (13.5 x 18.5 cm).
  7. After cropping and resizing, tap "Apply" to save the changes.
  8. Review the preview to make sure the image is sized as you want it.
  9. Proceed to print by following the on-screen instructions.

This should allow you to adjust your image to the size you need before printing.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Thank you !

In fact, the printer was a DeskJet 2700 All-in-One, but it worked too.
