I have a new HP Envy 6122e printer which is correctly connected to our WiFi. I can print from my Samsung Tablet without problems but neither my Samsung Galaxy A14 nor my husband's A13 can recognise the printer. I have HP Smart, HP Print Service plugin and Samsung print service plugin apps installed and none of them can help. I have uninstall ed and reinstalled all of these apps & followed all the processes on HP help pages. Can anyone out there suggest anything please? Thank you.

@Susiesec, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your Samsung Galaxy A14 and A13 are not recognizing your HP Envy 6122e printer despite being on the same Wi-Fi network and having the necessary apps installed, here are some step-by-step troubleshooting tips to help resolve the issue:
Confirm Network Connection
- Ensure your printer and both phones are connected to the same Wi-Fi network (not mobile data or a guest network).
- On the printer, check the Wi-Fi light is solid (not blinking). If not, reconnect it using the Wireless Setup Wizard on the printer's control panel.
Restart All Devices
- Power cycle your devices:
- Turn off the printer, unplug it for 30 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
- Restart your Wi-Fi router.
- Restart both Samsung phones.
Reinstall HP Print Service Plugin
- Uninstall the HP Print Service Plugin from both phones.
- Reinstall it from the Google Play Store.
- After installation:
- Go to Settings > Connections > More connection settings > Printing.
- Enable HP Print Service Plugin.
- Tap on it and ensure it detects the printer.
Use HP Smart App to Add Printer
- Open the HP Smart app.
- Tap the "+" to add a printer.
- If the printer doesn’t show up:
- Tap Set Up a New Printer and follow the prompts.
- If prompted, allow location and Bluetooth permissions.
Manually Add Printer via IP Address
If the printer still isn’t detected:
- Print a Network Configuration Page from the printer to find its IP address.
- On your phone:
- Go to Settings > Printing > HP Print Service Plugin.
- Tap the three dots > Add printer > Add printer by IP address.
- Enter the IP address from the configuration page.
Check for Android Permissions
- Ensure the HP Smart and Print Service Plugin apps have the following permissions:
- Location
- Nearby devices
- Wi-Fi control
Try Printing a Test Page
- Open a document or photo.
- Tap Share > Print.
- Choose the printer from the list (it should no longer be grayed out).
