Hello,

I tried to print something from the HP Scan App and it just stalled out. I unplugged my printer and plugged it back in and now I keep getting the error "you installed your ink cartridge incorrectly" when it is genuine HP ink cartridges that are new.  I don't know how to clear this error. I have tried installing reinstalling the cartridges, changing them out, turning the machine off an on. Nothing works. Help.

Also it worked fine 5 minutes before I tried to scan. And I am on Mac OS Ventura 13.5

I see that you are facing an issue with your Printer.

The problem was I installed a brand new 63 tri level xl ink cartridge and it was empty out of the packaging. You should send me a replacement. I had one more new one and I tried it and that worked. But why a brand new cartridge was empty I do not understand.

Hi @BastaTX,

 

I see that there is an issue with the ink cartridge and needs to be replaced if it is still under warranty.

This issue might require one-on-one interaction to fix it.
